Coach With Breakthrough Athletics

Breakthrough Athletics is based in Bowmanville and is committed to helping young athletes grow on and off the court.

We are currently looking for volunteer coaches to support our house league, rep teams, and weekly basketball programs.

This is a volunteer opportunity for individuals who are passionate about basketball, mentorship, and being part of a growing program.

Where You Can Help

House League

  • Runs every Saturday
  • Focused on development, learning, and game experience

Rep Teams

  • Boys and girls teams from U10 to U18
  • Teams practice twice per week
  • Coaches support practices, games, and player development

Weekly Programs

  • Skill development sessions throughout the week
  • Focus on fundamentals and individual improvement

Who We're Looking For

  • Volunteer coaches committed to youth development
  • Positive role models on and off the court
  • Coaches for both boys and girls programs
  • Reliable and committed individuals
  • Strong communicators
  • Passion for basketball and youth development
  • Playing or coaching experience is an asset, but not required
